Director, Xebex Enterprises, Inc.
As founder and director of Xebec Enterprises, Inc., Benjamin C. Dalley has been instrumental in the development of successful strategies to guide the company from start-up through acquisition, finance, and management of a number of projects. Benjamin Dalley’s company’s major acquisitions and investments include condo conversions and apartment buildings, such as a large Victorian-era home in the Columbia Heights area of Washington, D.C. The 4,000-square-foot San Francisco-style property was renovated to become three individual condominium units.
Following the establishment of Xebec Enterprises, Benjamin Dalley founded and developed Fields Restaurant Group, which is responsible for two busy restaurants with a total of 80 employees and a return of more than $3 million in annual sales. With typical energy and enthusiasm, Mr. Dalley coordinated the design of the renovated restaurants, District Lounge and Grille and District Underground. He managed the acquisition of necessary permits, hired contractors, and completed the jobs on time and under budget.
Benjamin C. Dalley is Operations and Development Director of Bike to the Beach for Autism. The nonprofit organization sponsors three annual 100-mile bike rides, one from Washington, D.C., to Dewey Beach, Delaware; one from Manhattan to Westhampton, Long Island, New York; and one from Boston, Massachusetts to Newport, Rhode Island. The purpose of the organization is twofold: to promote cycling as an important part of a healthy lifestyle, and to provide funding for autism research. Ben Dalley integrates sound business practices to create a highly efficient organization.
